Why You Should Ride Horses.

Have you ever wondered how hoofbeats sound from atop a horse’s back,or how it feels to go over a jump? Well,  that is exactly what you would experience if you were  to ride a horse.  You should ride horses because it is an active sport for active people, it burns calories, and being outdoors is good for you and your health.

Horseback riding is a very active sport for active sport for active people.  It helps you stay fit. If you ride often, it will eventually strengthen your core. It strengthens your core when you use certain muscles in your legs. Another thing horseback riding helps with is balance coordination,reflexes, and blood flow.

Another good reason to ride horses is because it burns hundreds of calories. After you have walked, trotted, and cantered on your horse you will have burned 200 calories. A lot of riders jump their horses. So really you will have burned 300-400 calories in a single ride!

Another benefit of horse riding is being outdoors. Being outdoors can be really good for you. The outdoors is good for you because you interact with nature, get fresh air, and you even see and smell nature. These are all benefits of riding outdoors.  

I believe you should give horse riding a try because it is a very active sport for active people, it burns lots of calories, and being outdoors is great for you. If you decide not to ride horses then you are missing out on jumping, showing, and a furry lovable friend! Horse riding is a great sport, so I believe you should give it a try!
